Branding, Digital Content Management Training Vital

The Information Dissemination Division of the Department of Information and Communication Information received a Brand Strategy and Brand Management Training to drive the Digital Transformation Agenda.

The training was held on 12th and 13th of December.

Department of ICT realigns itself with Papua New Guinea’s Vision 2050, in line with key ICT policies; and how it intends to communicate policies and outcomes through effective branding and communications.

The workshop and training will help the information team of DICT understand how to develop a brand strategy for a government agency as well as the components of DICT and the techniques to manage the Department brand moving in 2023 and beyond.

The training is part of the Department’s vision to upskill the in-house information team with new and innovative branding and digital content management skills.

This not only helps the team to professionally manage the Department brand but also assist other government agencies to manage their public image through the use of proper branding techniques; and efficient and transparent dissemination of government information using digital channels such as, website, social media, email and others.
