Youth Development

Empowering youth to shine their light

Divided into age groups of 8 to 12 years and 13 to 20 years, participants engaged in activities fostering a stronger connection with God, emphasizing the significance of sharing and interaction with peers. The overarching challenge issued to these young individuals was to become beacons of light, living as witnesses to Christ in their daily lives.

NIPG Partner with Youth

This week, youths of Rawal and N4C suburbs each signed a K250, 000 Community Participation Contract for the construction of pedestrian footpaths in Kavieng Town.

The funding is under the National Government’s Public Investment Program.

Governor Sir Julius Chan said for so long youths have been spectators in the development of the province, hence this time, they must be directly involved in development aspirations.

The contract agreement signed with the youths means direct employment, and this will surely benefit them personally.

Get a purpose in life says pastor

Ministry Pastor John Garu said every individual should know their purpose in life as life without purpose was meaningless and a waste of time.

“Without knowing the meaning in life, many people waste their time. Without purpose everything is meaningless,” Ps Garu said.

He said this to the youths during their end of year closing yesterday at Okari hall. The church ran a successful youth ministry this year to develop the younger generation to become good citizens .

Purpose is what keeps a person going; purpose is also a vision, he said.
