Florida still too close to call

The US presidential election is in full swing.

What's happened so far

  • Both candidates have picked up at least 10 states, and are racing to be the first to reach 270 electoral votes.
  • The race for Florida is neck-and-neck.
  • Ohio and North Carolina are also still too close to call.
  • A shooting near a Californian polling station has left one person dead and at least injured.

     

US election 2016: Trump hits back at 'disastrous' Obama

"He's been weak, he's been ineffective," Republican candidate Mr Trump said of Mr Obama in a Fox News interview on Tuesday.

Mr Obama has questioned why Mr Trump's party hasn't disowned him.

Mr Trump has also turned on two senior figures in his own party who have publicly criticised him.
