UPNG student leaders’ accommodation issue back in court

UPNG student leaders register after court decision

They were issued resumption forms and allowed to register and resume classes on Friday after orders of the National Court was served to the university.

Their lawyer Ramsey Pariwa served the orders of the court on UPNG Registrar Jennifer Popat and acting pro vice-chancellor academic & student affairs, Dr. Mange Matui, around lunch time on Friday.

Kenneth Rapa and 12 other student leaders were granted a temporary stay order by the court on their permanent exclusion of studies on Aug 9.
