Recording emerges of Tom Cruise 'shouting at film crew' over Covid

The Sun published the expletive-laden audio in which Cruise said: "If I see you doing it again, you're... gone."

The paper said Cruise had seen two crew members "standing too close to one another in front of a computer screen".

Variety and Reuters quoted sources confirming the audio was genuine.

Filming is currently taking place in the UK. The Sun did not say when the incident happened, but film-makers returned to the country in early December, according to Reuters.

Tom Cruise keen to film in space

Nasa is working with Cruise to film aboard the International Space Station.

There are no details of the film, but Deadline - which first reported the story - said it would not be a new instalment of Mission: Impossible.

The report also said Cruise, 57, is also working with Elon Musk's SpaceX, which will transport two US astronauts to the ISS for Nasa later this month.

Nasa administrator Jim Bridenstine wrote on Twitter: "Nasa is excited to work with Tom Cruise on a film aboard the Space Station!"

Musk replied to say the project "should be a lot of fun!"

Tom Cruise drops Top Gun 2 trailer

Top Gun: Maverick sees him revisit brilliant but reckless pilot Pete "Maverick" Mitchell, still flying but unable to let go of his past.

The trailer shows Cruise apparently pulling off some incredible aerial moves on board a US Navy jetfighter.

"Everything you see in this film is for real," he told the San Diego audience.

"We're working with the Navy, all of the flying you see in this picture is real, I really wanted to give you all an experience of what it is to be inside that aircraft.

Justin Bieber has issued a fight challenge to Tom Cruise

Bieber has challenged Cruise to a fight in the Octagon, the home of UFC fighting.

"I wanna challenge Tom Cruise to fight in the octagon.

"Tom if you dont take this fight your scared and you will never live it down," he posted on social media.

"Who is willing to put on the fight?" Bieber asked, before tagging in the president of the UFC Dana White.

Neither Cruise nor White have responded yet to the bizarre request from Bieber.

And there's been no explicit reason given for why Bieber chose to target Cruise.

Tom Cruise gives lesson in TV settings and 'motion smoothing'

In an impassioned video posted to Twitter on Tuesday, the Mission Impossible star warned that a default setting on many high-end televisions "makes most movies look like they were shot on high-speed video instead of film".

Taking a break from filming the new Top Gun film, he appeared alongside director Christopher McQuarrie, who pleads with viewers to do a quick internet search and find out how to change the correct settings.

'Too short' Tom Cruise to be replaced for Jack Reacher reboot

In Child's books, Reacher is described as 6ft 5in tall with hands the size of dinner plates. Cruise is 5ft 7in.

"Cruise, for all his talent, didn't have that physicality," Child told BBC Radio Manchester's Mike Sweeney.

The author said a deal was signed last week to make a new streaming show.

Readers had complained about Cruise's suitability to play the imposing former major in the US military police since his casting was announced in 2011.

"I really enjoyed working with Cruise. He's a really, really nice guy. We had a lot of fun," Child told the station.

Critics rave about Tom Cruise's Mission: Impossible - Fallout

Cruise returns as US agent Ethan Hunt, battling a global catastrophe while defying death with alarming regularity.

He's "ageless", with the film getting "better, twistier and more deliriously fun with each instalment", according to Entertainment Weekly.

The Hollywood Reporter, meanwhile, praised director Christopher McQuarrie.

It said that with Mission: Impossible - Fallout he "tops what he did with Cruise three years ago".

Val Kilmer set to make return in Top Gun: Maverick

He will star alongside Tom Cruise in the film, 33 years after the original was released, US media reported.

Filming for Top Gun: Maverick started at the end of May. It is being directed by Joseph Kosinski, who also directed the Tron sequel in 2010.

Kilmer appeared to confirm last year that he had cancer, and that he was "healing".

Cruise posted a photo on Twitter last week, referring to the first day of returning to the role of United States Naval Aviator Lieutenant Pete "Maverick" Mitchell.

Tom Cruise is 'diabolical,' says Leah Remini

Remini has been an outspoken critic of the church since leaving in 2013, receiving critical acclaim for her documentary series "Leah Remini: Scientology and the Aftermath."

In a Reddit AMA to promote the second season of the show, Remini was asked if she thought Tom Cruise, a Scientologist since 1990, was a “good person." Her response was blunt.

Tom Cruise snapped in Queenstown while in NZ for Mission: Impossible 6

The movie star was snapped earlier yesterday when the helicopter he was travelling in landed at the airport to refuel, said the photographer, who didn't want to be named.

"He's been in a helicopter since 9 o'clock this morning (Monday), just flying around the whole of the Wakatipu. He's back out there now," he said.

While the chopper was refuelling, Cruise could be seen inspecting the aircraft.
