Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs)

Promoting SDG business innovation

The United Nations Economic and Social Commission for Asia and the Pacific (ESCAP) and the Presidential Agency for International Cooperation of Colombia (APC Colombia) have formalised this partnership.

The SDGs have increasingly transformed how the private sector operates to achieve inclusive and sustainable development.

PNG athletes appointed as SDG champions

This follows a new partnership between the United Nations in Papua New Guinea and the Papua New Guinea Olympic Committee to promote the global goals.

The athletes, namely Ryan Pini (swimming), Lua Rikis (netball), Tania Mairi Mahuru (shooting), Christopher Amini (cricket) and Milton Kisapai (hockey) will be delivering messages about the global goals through sports events, educational programs by the Olympic Committee, and media channels, to raise awareness and encourage people to stand up for the goals.

19yo taking lead to educate peers on SDGs

Having worked as a peer educator at the Youth Adolescent Health Club (YAH) and Young Women Christian Association (YWCA) for years, Bronwyn, at the age of 19, has a rich experience in educating and engaging youth.
