Kempa Upset Hekari in youth league

Both teams showed great potential in the opening part of the competition and a shoulder above every other team in the competition. Their match was a display of class, but Kempa FC came out on top putting a stop to Hekari’s winning streak.

Up to the Northern Conference, Markham FC def. Nawaeb FC 1-0, Welgris Morobe United FC def. Bulolo FC 4-0 and Lahi United FC def. Laiweden FC 3-2.

To the first game of the women’s in the Southern Conference, MRDC Hekari United FC def. PRK Laloki United FC 5-1.

Export 15s rugby into finals

In the first final, the Morobe Rugby Football Union Hammerheads will take on the Rabaul Kais.

The game will kick off at 1pm.

The Hammerheads and the Kais topped the pools in their respective conferences in the Northern and New Guinea Islands (NGI) Conference.

The Hammerheads finished unbeaten in the round robin matches with three wins.

The Kais won two out three games to finish on top in the NGI Conference.

The second final at 3pm will be between the Capital Rugby Union (CRU) Gaigais and CRU Boromas.
