Malu committed to take back Talasea electorate

The Nakanai tribe of West New Britain has put their very own son Simon Malu to contest the Talasea Open seat.

Malu, who is a former Director of Customary Lands nominated on the last day of nominations in Kimbe with a large crowd of supporters from Nakanai and around the province.

Malu is confident to win and claim back the Talasea seat which is rightfully theirs.

“This is our birthright and we cannot allow others to continue to dominate this seat.

“It’s about time we took what is ours and lead our people.”

The seat is currently held by Francis Marus.
