Suspects arrested, detained over drug possession

The officer in charge (OIC) of the Gordon’s Minor Crime, Senior Sergeant Apollos Terry, said the three suspects were caught allegedly with various quantities of marijuana, cocaine and methamphetamine at the Vadavada Lodge in Port Moresby last week.

He added that the suspects also allegedly had a set of precision tools suggesting the substances were being mixed, distilled and brewed for use. They also had syringes, test tubes and others accessories as well, according to Senior Sergeant Terry.

Policeman arrested over bribery claims

Senior Sergeant Terry, the Officer in Charge of the Gordon’s Minor Crimes Unit, is currently heading an investigation into a suspected human trafficking, uttering of government documents and other related transnational crimes, including a suspected visa and passport racketeering.
