K500, 000 for SHPHOC

He made the presentation in Port Moresby to Chairman of the SHPHOC, Sape Molumi, on Moday January 14th. 

The K500, 000 presented is from the 2018 commitment made by Provincial Government.

This amount is separate from the K10 million which has been allocated in the 2019 Provincial Budget for the necessary infrastructure.

Governor Powi said the presentation is a sign of the commitment of the Provincial Government. Games.

K60,000 for Kagua-Erave Football Club

Local businessman and chairman of the PNG Games 2020 host organising committee, Sape Molumi, says such a historic achievement deserves backing from the wider Southern Highlands community.

The host organising committee presented K40,000 to the patron of the Kagua-Erave Football Club, Wesley Raminai, while as a corporate citizen, Molumi, on behalf of his firm, Oceanic Construct Ltd, gave K20,000.

“And I also appeal to other corporate citizens of our province and our district to come and support the team that is participating at that level,” he added.

Moresby Northeast candidate launches campaign

Molumi is a local businessman and engineer from Mendi, endorsed by the People’s Movement for Change Party (PMfC).

Molumi will be challenging sitting member for Moresby Northeast, Labi Amaiu, for the hot seat.

He told supporters and the people of Moresby Northeast that he will base his leadership on bringing in change for the people and improving their living standards. These include building proper infrastructure and building new homes.

Molumi confirmed that he will nominate on Wednesday, April 26.
