Ronaldinho maintains his innocence

Ronaldinho and Roberto Assis, the former footballer's brother and agent, were arrested on March 6 shortly after arriving in Asuncion to promote a book and the launch of an online casino.

Local authorities shared an image of what appeared to be a Paraguayan ID card bearing Ronaldinho's name and photo, with the former Ballon d'Or winner and his sibling taken into custody despite prosecutors proposing a different sanction, arguing the pair had been tricked.

Ronaldinho uneasy with Neymar move

The Ligue 1 giants completed a stunning transfer coup last week by meeting the forward's €222m release clause at Camp Nou.

Neymar continued a lineage of Brazilian superstars plying their trade in Catalonia, where Ronaldinho dazzled spectacularly on his way to the 2005 Ballon d'Or.

It is thought Neymar's desire to step out of Lionel Messi's shadow and claim world football's most coveted individual prize was a motivating factor in his decision to join PSG but Ronaldinho believes the 25-year-old is failing to see the bigger picture.

Rashford takes pic with Ronaldinho

Rashford was part of a United side that clinched an EFL Cup and Europa League double last season and has been enjoying a hard-earned break Stateside with team-mate Jesse Lingard.

And, while on his travels, one the game's brightest prospects bumped into one of its greatest players in the form of the Brazil and Barcelona great.

Capturing the moment on camera, Rashford posted the results on Twitter with a caption that read: "Nice to sit down and chat with the king @10Ronaldinho."

Ronaldinho ready to help Chapecoense

Teams and players from around the world have offered their services to Brazil's Chapecoense, who tragically had players, backroom staff and officials among the 71 people to lose their lives when a flight carrying them to the Copa Sudamericana final against Atletico Nacional went down in Cerro Gordo, La Union in Colombia last week.

Ronaldinho’s bizarre new Olympic dream

The two-time World Player of the Year attended an event in Hungary on Tuesday to promote the launch of a new sport - which is played on something resembling a curved table tennis table.

Given that competitors are required to use their feet rather than their hands, there are obvious skills which can be transferred from the football field.

Technical ability and concentration are considered to be key attributes for top Teqball players, which suggests that it should be right up Ronaldinho’s street.
