National Road Safety Authority (NRSA) CEO, Nelson Terema, revealed today at the launch of the Puma Energy road safety campaign.
In previous years, NCD registered 9,947 accidents, Morobe 3,388, Western Highlands 2,170, Eastern Highlands 1,772, Madang 1, 479, East New Britain 1,325 and Enga 1,180.
He added that NRSA’s road safety provincial awareness is targeting these seven provinces because they are classified as ‘high risk’.
