The main Port Moresby Betting shop located at Gordons next to KK Kingston, is packed to its full capacity.
Loop PNG was on location to note that the General public had already began placing bets since the betting shop opened.
Men, women and even some grown kids too are still being seen to be moving in and out of the betting shop to place their bets.
The same is also being seen at the other betting shop locations at Boroko, Waigani and Six Mile as well.
More is yet to unfold as the race is expected to start at 2pm.
