PNG Pavilion

His Excellency Ahmed Al Sayegh, Minister of State and Chairman of Abu Dhabi Global Market (ADGM) graced the PNG pavilion with his presence as part of his expo pavilion visit.

The Minister was received by the PNG Pavilion Assistant Manager and Acting Marketing Director of Tourism Promotion Authority Alice Kuaningi and PNG Protocol, Accreditation and Media Liaison Officer Nerolyn Kuamugl.

At the opening, Schnaubelt acknowledged the contribution and support given by the UAE Government in making it possible for Papua New Guinea to participate in the world expo and the financial support given through the shipment of commercial and display products to Dubai.

He also thanked them for the pavilion infrastructure given to PNG free of charge, among other forms of assistances contributed towards PNG’s participation.

Giving an update from Dubai, PNG’s Commissioner General to the Expo, Ambassador Joshua Kalinoe said they have settled in and are getting the pavilion program finalized and ready to go.

He said the contingent is looking ahead at the activities that are undertaken by the expo committee, called the thematic week events.

Ambassador Kalinoe said they are also participating through the CEOs of companies through ministers of government, with the minister for Forests’ arrival in Dubai kick starting the first program, which is on environment and biodiversity.
