PNGAIR - 35 years of aviation service

Today it announced 2022 as a special year as it celebrates 35 years of aviation service to Papua New Guinea.

The airline's history goes back to Milne Bay Province as Milne Bay Airlines, when the company was established and started operations on June 30 1987 by founder, the late Sir. John Wild, Snr. MBA would later become Airlines PNG in 2001 and then PNG Air in 2015.

Cabin Crew And Staff Ill

Library Presents Books to PNG Air

BbP Executive Officer, Leeanne Resson thanked PNG Air and said the airline has been supporting them for the past three years and is still going.

“This partnership is an important partnership because they assist Buk bilong Pikinini with our reestablishment Library Kits. We are able to get these kits in schools across PNG. Within the first three quarters alone, we were able to restock 68 schools with the kits and this would not have been possible without the support from PNG Air.

PNG Air Supports Awards

PNG Air Resumes Flights To Madang

Flights will operate with the DASH 8-100 series aircraft as per direction from PNG Air, this is due to the length of runway currently available.

PNG Air will resume flight operations via ATR 72-600 upon completion of the full runway length that is currently awaiting approval from NAC.

Madang has up to four weekly flights and this will allow passengers and cargo partners to book their flights with ease into the province.
