ATO Village welcome water supply

“If we want to remove slavery in the 21st century one of the things that we must remove is the slavery that we give to girls and women to carry water. As a community leader I believe that girls must be free to do their studies or other things.”

Ms Sawang helped Ato villagers to seek funding to implement the water project. The National Gaming Control Board (NGCB) came to their aid.

Common Roll A Letdown: Maru

Party leader, Richard Maru in a press conference held recently stated that PFP is not happy with the current common roll update and fears that many may miss out during the 2022 National General Elections.

Maru becomes PFP Leader

Minister Maru, who was previously in the People’s National Congress Party, made the move in February this year but delayed announcing the move because of the death of Grand Chief Sir Micheal Somare. His membership with the PFP was officially confirmed by the Registrar of Political Parties on the 17th of February this year.

PFP President, Pastor Dominic Krasombi, and Party Secretary General, Sir Peter Honale were present to show their support. Patron of the party, Luther Wenge was not present but was represented by his son, Mathew Wenge.
