Village mum encourages females to get cancer checks

Atta is married with four teenage daughters and lives in the village with her family.

She was involved in the recent cancer awareness program carried out in her village by the PNG Cancer Foundation.

She said they appreciated the awareness program as many women didn’t know about the different types of cancer, their symptoms and prevention and most times it is just negligence.
