The 49-year-old passed away at his Brisbane home on Thursday morning.

A post-mortem will be carried out to determine the cause of his death.

Friends have revealed Green had not complained about being ill and have been left shocked and devastated by his passing.

Given that Cronulla boast the third best defensive record in the NRL the Dragons will need to find a whole lot more with ball in hand if they are to topple the Sharks for the first time since round five, 2020.
