NCD vehicle checks

Police presence to increase in NCD

NCDC Metropolitan Superintendent Ben Turi told Loop PNG that manpower for roadblocks and checks have increased and some parts of the city might seem congested at nights.

Vehicles are advised to stop at these checkpoints for the police to give a quick run-down check on their vehicles before they can pass.

“I stress again that all vehicles must stop at these checkpoints,” says Turi.

Turi says there will also be roadblocks put up in certain streets where some vehicles like to take to escape police checks.
