NSL double header to hit POM

Southern Strikers and Madang FC will get things going starting at 12:30pm in the round seven fixtures.

The 3pm encounter is an all Morobe affair with FC Momase to clash with giants Toti City FC.

The third match will be at the Sir Ignatius Kilage Stadium in Lae between Buang FC vs FC Morobe Wawens. This gets underway at 3pm.

Harrison Kamake’s Besta PNG United FC have the bye this weekend.

The 27-year-old Papua New Guinea international defender moved south a month ago and has already shown himself as a player to watch.

He impressed in the club's 2-2 draw against Auckland City in its National Football League opener on Saturday, and is looking for another big performance against Eastern Suburbs at the Caledonian Ground.

“I always wanted to play here because it was always my dream to play in the (New Zealand) national league,” he said.

The Grammy award winning singer will play the halftime show in Houston, Texas in February 2017.

She has tweeted: "It's not an illusion. The rumours are true. This year the Super Bowl goes Gaga!"

The National Football League (NFL) championship game is the most watched event on US television.

Lady Gaga will follow in the steps of Beyonce, Coldplay, Bruno Mars and Katy Perry.

It will be her second Super Bowl appearance after she opened last February's game with a performance of the American national anthem.
