Men of Honour Award

The Men of Honour campaign is a local solution to a global problem. It is a unique campaign against violence with a paradigm shift, focusing on positive behaviour for affirmative action, designed to recognise and award ordinary men and their extraordinary feats.

During a small but significant presentation, Yang Weiming, Huawei’s Account Director, said Huawei as a responsible corporate citizen in Papua New Guinea is very happy to support initiatives that benefit the country.

Foundation Chief Executive Officer, Beatrice Mahuru, said the Men of Honour Award is Digicel PNG Foundation’s innovative campaign against violence in PNG.

“Through our Men of Honour campaign, we are asking Papua New Guineans to identify positive male role models in their communities. In honouring the good men of Papua New Guinea, we can use positive behaviour to create the world we want to see.
