Tim Cahill reacts to being booed by Sydney FC fans

Cahill was audibly booed by Sydney FC supporters when he came on as a substitute during a 1-1 draw at ANZ Stadium on Friday night.

The Socceroos legend took to Twitter to address the heckling, warning supporters to be wary of their conduct around young fans.

"Is what it is, i don't mind the boos but remember what comes out of FANS mouths stays with the children as much as it does me," Cahill tweeted.

Cahill has been given a mixed reception by supporters of other A-League teams, often being heckled when he is playing away from AAMI Park.

'Pathetic' dive by Melbourne City's Neil Kilkenny

After getting into a fracas with Reds midfielder Isaias, Kilkenny dropped to the ground and rolled around theatrically after being lightly touched on the forehead.

Fox Sports pundit Mark Rudan described Kilkenny's conduct as 'disgraceful' and 'unsportsmanlike'.

Socceroos squad: Seven players called up

Brattan, on loan from Manchester City, has made an impressive start to the season and was named along with other A-League-based players Jason Geria (Melbourne Victory), Josh Risdon (Perth Glory) and Tommy Oar (Brisbane Roar).

Left-back Behich, Nathan Burns and Milos Degenek have also been added to the squad which drew with Saudi Arabia and Japan.

Socceroos coach Ange Postecoglou plans to cut his squad to 23 after the weekend of matches.
