Dubbed by many as the “mumu stone” for his fast and powerful left legged kicks, Nathaniel Hans, has passed away too soon in life, leaving a legacy and a huge gap within the Soccer fraternity.

The crowd that gathered at the Laiwaden field comprised of young and old that had known Neil his whole life. Children, youths, fans, players, parents of players and the Madang Soccer Association Officials.

Tusbab Kumuls win Madang title

Led by the Wadunah brothers, Ricky and Jason in the midfield, the Kumuls were all over a luckless Nabasa.

Under the watchful eyes of Nigel Malagian, the Kumuls scored two goals in both halves of the match to end Nabasa’s hope for bragging rights.

In the men’s B_League, Kumuls were too strong for Malmal FC, winning 3-1.

In the women’s final, Tusbab Kumuls were unlucky, going down to Marlins FC 1-0.

In the Under 16 boys, Momase beat Madsema 1-0.

Madang ready to host Momase Regional Besta Qualifiers

Madang Soccer Association president Ray Romo, in a meeting with the local organising committee and chairman of Momase Soccer Federation, Sigi Beche, reiterated that MSA will do everything possible to make this tournament a success.

“As the president of one of the oldest associations in the country, my executives and I are ready to host the tournament on our grounds. At the same time, we will provide necessary support to the local organising committee in whatever way we can.

Beautiful Madang to host Momase regional qualifiers

Madang Soccer Association President Ray Romo in a meeting with the Local Organizing Committee and Chairman of Momase Soccer Federation Sigi Beche reiterated that MSA is looking forward to the tournament and will do everything possible to make this tournament a success.

“As the President of one of the oldest association in the country, my executives and I are ready to host the tournament, at the same time provide necessary support to the local organising committee.”

Madang Soccer Association to enter preseason grandfinal

MSA secretary Charles Romo says the grand final will kick off at 11am with Under 16 third playoffs and end at 3pm with open men’s grand final.

Romo says the U16 division third play offs will see Tusbab Kumuls taking on Wata FC while the grand final will be between Mimlon and Kuima FTM.

He says in the open women’s division, Masters will go up against the strong Tusbab Kumuls side while the grand final will be between Marlins challenging Wata FC.
