Lae will have world-class football stadium, reveals association

This will come to pass with the backing of its provincial government and counterpart funding from several interested overseas business houses.

Lae Football Association (LFA) in Morobe is by far Papua New Guinea Football Association’s biggest group in the country, with 39 participating clubs and over 300 players.

A world class double stadium would be an added bonus to its members and the development of the code in this soccer-loving province.

The association is one of the few that is running a full competition, apart from Port Moresby and other centres.
