Setting the celebratory mood with the Mardi Gras last night, February 23, The Cosmopolitan brings the Melanesian flavour back with Sharzy’s Pacific Bash.

This is the first leg of his Pacific Tour where the Solomon Island artist will feature local PNG musicians tonight, February 24.

This is a new song Leonard Kania Snr and son Silas are working on at the moment, according to Kania Snr.

He reveals that the song, recorded under Pro-Head studio based in Port Moresby, should be released by January next year.

This father-son collaboration has both working on the lyrics.

Kania Snr admits that it brings a new style to his music, pushing the Tolai Rock legend into slow rock.

“I get advice from my sons (including the late Junior Leonard Kania) on the music trend and taste of the generation.

Called “The Legend Concert”, the event will be staged at the Regal Bar and Grill on December 23 and December 24.

This two-night of pure Kania flavour will also feature the legend’s second son Silas, who has been making a name in the music scene.

One is sure to expect hits such as 4lane, Rayleen, Black Pawa as well as Baby Murray and Em Les.

“The idea for this concert came after I performed here (Regal) in late September and saw a huge turnout and the fans wanting more,” Kania said.
