This is part of the Kokopo-Rabaul infrustrature development plan.
Transportation and Infrastructure development is critical for the country. The signing of the records of discussion for this development took place between JICA, the East New Britain Provincial Government and the PNG Government through the Department of National Planning and Monitoring and the Department of Transport.
The signing will also pave the way for the planning and construction of a durable highway for the people of East New Britain, funded by JICA with technical support from the PNG government.
