Kevin Hart is 'doing very well' after car crash

Comedian and actor Hart was taken to hospital after a vintage car he was a passenger in rolled down an embankment in the California hills.

Speaking on The Kelly Clarkson Show, Johnson said his pal was "a lucky man".

"Everything is good," he said. "I spoke with Kevin - I connected with him today."

He added: "And you know what? These things happen in life and thankfully he was strapped in nicely to his car seat."

According to the California Highway Patrol, Hart was being driven in his 1970 Plymouth Barracuda on Mulholland Highway at the time of the accident.

His wife Eniko Parrish told TMZ news reporters on Monday that the comedian was awake and "going to be just fine".

The accident happened just after midnight.

The driver, Jared Black, lost control of the car and it tumbled into an embankment, the report stated.

Black also sustained major back injuries. A third passenger was unhurt.

In the Instagram post, the 38-year-old says he'd made a "bad error of judgement".

Photos have been leaked online which seem to show him in bed with a woman.

He says he has "no excuses" but doesn't want anyone to make any money from his mistakes.

The star, who's one of the most influential comedians on the planet, posted the emotional video over the weekend.

Kevin Hart doesn't say exactly what he's done, but according to entertainment website TMZ the video of him with a woman is "sexually suggestive".

Hart achieved fame as a stand-up before enjoying further success as the star of such films as Get Hard, The Wedding Ringer and Ride Along.
