Sepik Pride Trial With Gurias

The Gurias team management through Sepik Board member and former Kumul coach, Michael Marum has embraced the arrangement.

After the announcement, EMK Selik Pride Board Chairman, Bradley Simon said the composition of team will highlight six young local talents from Wewak, who were identified from the 2021 Agmark Sepik Pride 9s, including Jonathan Isa who was part of the Gurias training squad last year.

FFPNG successfully stages friendly matches in Kokopo

In the main match, Hekari United FC outclassed FC Radazz 5-1.

Again, it was the Kepo brothers who featured prominently in the win with two goals to Ati and one to Kolu.

The other two points came off the boot of Nathan James.

In the curtain raiser which was a women's match, the Autonomous Region of Bougainville drew 1-1 with East New Britain.

Next up on the FFPNG calendar will be the seven-a-side tournaments which will be held in all four Conferences (Northern, Southern, Highlands and NGI) across the country during the month of April.

NGI Super 9s for next month

The 20 participating teams will do battle from January 26-28, 2018.

The NGI Super 9s is an annual event from which only the best are drafted into the Agmark Rabaul Gurias train-on squad.

There will be a total of K85,000 in prize money up for grabs during the three-day tournament.

1st place: K50,000

2nd place: K20,000

3rd place: K10,000

4th place: K5,000

Registration is K3,300 per team and will close on January 12, 2018.
