Soldiers lawyers told to sort out certificate

The accuseds charged for the wilful murder of Salvation Army student Jeremiah Yinu appeared in Court this morning, however their case could not proceed as their lawyer is yet to get his 2016 Legal Practising Certificate.

Magistrate John Kaumi adjourned their case to Feb 24 to give their lawyer a week to sort out his practising certificate and produce it before the court.

It is alleged the soldiersĀ  involvement in a fight with students on July 25, 2015 that resulted in a grade 11 Salvation Army student being hospitalised after receiving life threatening injuries.
