Design Comp Winners Announced

The competition has been going for three years, it was launched in November 2020 and since then has received much traction with entrants sending in submissions from all over the country.

Jacks of PNG held a presentation to announce the winners of the PNG Design Competition by Jacks of PNG. The winning designs will be showcased in the clothing seen on the racks in all Jacks of PNG outlets.

Jack’s of PNG Partnership

The Papua New Guinea Olympic Committee (PNGOC) has welcomed Jacks of PNG as a partner for the year 2021.

PNGOC Corporate Manager Ian Leklek welcomed Jacks of PNG after the retailer provided ‘Walk Out Uniforms’, for Team PNG attending the Tokyo 2020 Olympic Games.

“The Team PNG uniform is always one of our biggest costs and having Jacks of PNG on board to provide in kind sponsorship of Team PNG Walk Out Uniforms has greatly reduced that burden on Team PNG’s Games Budget,” said Leklek.

Our love for rugby jerseys…

Clothing store Jack’s of PNG, now three months into selling the PNGRFL Hunters and Kumuls’ range, will confirm this.

One area of the shop is full of the colours black, red and gold. These are not just the national colours but that of the supporter rugby jerseys, vests, caps and other accessories of the two rugby league teams.

PNGRFL had signed a contract with local company Pacific Sport Multi-media as the licensed company to produce and manufacture clothing with the team designs and logos.

PSM gave the license to Jack’s of PNG to manufacture and sell.

Second local collection in Jack’s of PNG

The shop at Waigani Central today launched the Niugini Native brand by Wandid Amini Korimbo.

Korimbo is the second local designer whose collection is promoted and sold exclusively in Jack’s of PNG.

That is the initial intention of Jack’s, said Yogesh Sammy, Manager for Corporate Business.

“We said to launch local products and want people to buy more local products. We want to focus on exposing one designer at a time,” he said.
