On Tuesday, the Facebook owned photo-and-video sharing service unveiled new features to make it easier for businesses to analyze and run ad campaigns through its mobile app.

Chris Brown and Nia Guzman have taken their battle out of the court and onto social media. Earlier this week the rapper won his custody case that allows him to continue seeing his daughter 12 days per month without supervision. The judge also ruled that he wouldn't have to increase his child support.

Jani, from Finland, became the youngest ever recipient of Instagram's "bug bounty" prize. The glitch he discovered let him delete other users' comments.

He reported it to Instagram owner Facebook, which awarded him the prize after verifying and then fixing the bug.

It's all the more impressive given that, according to the site's policy, Jani won't even be old enough to join Instagram until he's 13.

While we might scoff at those who can't manage a 4pm trip to Starbucks without snapping and sharing, that doesn't stop us doing exactly the same. Because everyone wants to see our beans and potato smileys dinner, right?

1. AVOID BRIGHT LIGHT

You want to take a picture of something, you make sure it's bathed in light, right? Wrong. Instead of hunting out areas of brightness, slide your grub into the shade.

It looks like there may be a feud brewing between Nicki Minaj and Demi Lovato following their attendance at the Met Gala last night, at least, that's what all of the social media clues seem to suggest. 

It all started when the Pink Friday rapper shared a picture on Instagram of herself posing for cameras on the carpet alongside designer Jeremy Scott and the singer.

But, the only person she tagged was Scott. Hmm...

Users will be able to have up to five Instagram accounts and quickly switch between them without having to log out and back in. It will begin to appear on the iOS and Android apps this week, as part of Instagram version 7.15.

The long-awaited feature was first tested on some Android users last year, and selected iPhone users began seeing it more recently.

Once it's available, you'll be able to go to your profile settings to add an additional account and, from there, you can tap your username to switch between accounts.

Until now, images shared via the site could only be uploaded in a square format.

Disney, maker of the new Star Wars film, has already taken advantage of yesterday's change to upload a landscape-orientated teaser video.

Instagram recently announced plans to carry more advertising.
