Indoor cricket starts second week of finals

Matches will be played on both Saturday and Sunday.

The grand final for the sixth season of the PIH CIC competition will be held this month on the 24th.

NGCB indoor cricket tournament to start tomorrow

The highly-anticipated event is an initiative of the Acting Clerk of Parliament, Kala Aufa and is being organised by a Committee headed by Chairman, Ila Pala.

The 24 corporate teams, most of whom took part in the recently completed PIH Corporate Indoor Cricket Competition, will converge to Amini Park and compete in the Men’s and Mixed divisions over the next five weeks, with the finals scheduled for Saturday May 6.

Pala thanked the NGCB for their support and conveyed the same gratitude to the support sponsors.

PIH indoor cricket comp completes round 2

38 teams are taking part in season four of the competition which has two divisions- men’s and the mixed pools.

In the men’s pool 1 (Avala), the Institute of Business Studies (IBS) and PIH are the only two undefeated teams and sit in first and second spot respectively on the points ladder on 28 points each.

In pool 2 (Lahara), Pacific Assurance Group (PAG) sits on top with two from two wins on 24 poitns. Rent-A-Tent is second on 16 points.

For the mixed division, in pool 1 (Avurigo), PAG is again leading on 27 points. BSP is not far on 26.
