ICCC Commissioner and CEO Paulus Ain

ICCC Commissioner and CEO, Paulus Ain, met with Telikom PNG Board Chairman, Mahesh Patel, yesterday following media statements made early in the week.

It was announced on Monday that Cabinet approved the transfer of the shares of DataCo and Bemobile to Telkiom.

During the informal discussion Patel assured Ain and guaranteed that appropriate competition requirements are met prior to completing the proposed merger.

In a statement, Ain said he was grateful for Patel to come forward and inform ICCC of the proposed merger.

Air Niugini submitted its authorisation application to code-share with Qantas on 27^th July, 2016. 

ICCC Commissioner and CEO Paulus Ain said, “The ICCC granted authorisation to Air Niugini to enter into and give effect to the code-share agreement with Qantas for a period of five years commencing 10^th November.
