Thugs attempt to hijack woman’s car in broad daylight

Fortunately, police intercepted and shot one of the suspects.

Gerehu Police Station Commander, Robert Kurei, said two men held up the woman and whilst trying to get away in her car, a senior police officer arrived just in time to shoot one of the suspects down.

The other suspect was apprehended by police after his accomplice was shot and rushed to the Port Moresby General Hospital for treatment.

“Although the victim did not sustain any serious injuries, she was traumatised,” police say.

This flaw allows hackers to terminate connections, spy on unencrypted traffic or inject malware into the parties' communications.

Even the latest Android Nougat Preview is considered to be vulnerable.

The security flaw was first appeared in the implementation of the TCP protocol in all Linux systems deployed since 2012 (version 3.6 and above of the Linux OS kernel) and the Linux Foundation has already patched the Linux kernel on July 11, 2016.
