The modern community health centre to be built at Tukusenda village near Surunki is among four such projects which are being funded within the province by the Asian Development Bank under the rural primary health service program.
The others will be built at Porea in Laiagam, Monakam and Kasi in the Kompiam-Ambum districts.
Enga Provincial health authority chief executive officer Aron Luai said Governor Sir Peter Ipatas, his government and administration deserved credit for their significant input in ensuring that the “life-saving projects” were materialised.
