A month on in his new posts DCP Huafolo says that he has spoken with Assistant Commissioner Police Crimes Victor Isouve to go about setting up a new team to re-investigate the case.
Huafolo says there have been a lot of allegations against police for causing this particular incident and went on record saying that the suspected individuals are police which "cannot be denied".
However what needs to be done is to "go back to the drawing board" and fully investigate and bring about results that may help restore some of the lost credibility to the RPNG Constabulary.
