Across to Kokopo, Gurias won Kroton Hela Wigmen 16-12. Up to Goroka, Muruks took out Waghi Tumbe 10-0.

Muruks buried at Kalabond

Olo racked up14 points (three tries and one conversion) to give the home side their second win for this season after three rounds.

Leading 20-0 going into the second half, the Gurias kept up the intensity, starving the Muruks of possession. The Muruks were their own worst enemy with poor ball control and defence ruling their game.

Olo made light work of the weary Muruks as he danced around several defenders to cross over for his third try of the game in the 60th minute.

Gurias lead 16-2 at break

The Roosters had the first opportunity to register points in the fourth minute of play but Kolinio Radrovi was unable to convert the penalty goal.

Minutes later it was the Gurias who made the most of an opportunity through Pidi Tongap who barged through the Roosters defence to score first points.

Jason Missian added the extras for the Gurias to take a 6-0 lead after 11 minutes of play.

Lahanis end losing patch

The second half started with Gurias  drawing first blood by John Ragi Jnr scores his second try for the day on 45th minutes.

Missian moved in from the side lines and converted to take the score to Gurias 10 Lahanis 16.

Gurias backs set this one up again with  John Ragi Jnr combining with Konie Bernard to score on the 56th minute to take the score to Gurias 16 and Lahanis 16 all.

The Lahanis team was awarded a penalty and a kick for goal to take the  lead Lahanis 18 and Gurias 16.
