Father Edward Revilla is a missionary priest who has been around Papua New Guinea for many years, ministering to Catholic Faithful at the Shrine of Mary help of Christians in Boroko.

He also spends time with the students listening and counselling them while also hearing their confessions. Father Edward Revilla is always in constant contact with people.

These were the words of the Catholic Bishops Conference Communication Secretary, Fr. Ambrose Pereira SDB, during an enlightening workshop on social media last Saturday.

The workshop was titled ‘Understanding Social Media Rightly’.

He was addressing members of the Mary Our Help (MOH) ladies’ dormitory at Don Bosco Technological Institute, Boroko.

All the 80 women who reside there were present for the session, commencing 5.35pm.

Participants were given an insight into social media; to understand the different types of social networks being used today.
