Disaster operations centre established

With a lot of support in relief supplies flowing in from donor partners and agencies, the Enga Provincial Administration saw the need for a centralized Operations Centre, including an onsite operations arm near the disaster site for proper management.

More support for Mulitaka

This aims to provide crucial assistance to the affected families grappling with the aftermath of last month's devastating event.

Expressing solidarity with the affected communities, CCEP's Sales & Commercial Director Tim Solly, underscored the company's commitment to supporting those in need during such trying times.

Barrick & Zijin donate K3.8m to Mulitaka

This is in support of the ongoing assistance provided by New Porgera Limited.

A shareholder in the Porgera mine, Zijin also announced another K1.9 million funding support, also through New Porgera Limited and the two companies  will contribute a total of US$1 million (Kina 3.8 million) through New Porgera Limited (NPL) to the disaster.

Brewery continues disaster relief efforts

As such, the South Pacific (SP) Brewery donated K10, 000 to Enga Provincial Disasters office to support its disaster relief efforts.

SP Brewery Corporate Affairs Manager, John Nilkare, announced this disaster relief support.  

Newmont supports Enga with K1 million

This pledge is in response to Papua New Guinea’s call for support and will be provided in coordination with other resource companies through the Papua New Guinea Chamber of Resources and Energy (PNG CORE).
