Trump: 'Second Amendment people' could deal with Clinton

"Hillary wants to abolish -- essentially abolish the Second Amendment. By the way, if she gets to pick, if she gets to pick her judges, nothing you can do, folks. Although the Second Amendment people, maybe there is, I don't know," Trump said.

He added: "But I tell you what, that will be a horrible day, if Hillary gets to put her judges in, right now we're tied."

Trump's ambiguous comments alarmed some political observers as to whether he was threatening her life or calling for increased political activity.

Clinton blamed after Iran executes scientist

Critics, including opponent Donald Trump, are slamming former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton for having received emails mentioning him on her controversial personal email server.

Trump took to Twitter on Monday to link Clinton to Shahram Amiri's death, writing, "Many people are saying that the Iranians killed the scientist who helped the U.S. because of Hillary Clinton's hacked emails."

Republican security experts rail against Trump in open letter

The group - which includes the former CIA director Michael Hayden - said Mr Trump "lacks the character, values and experience" to be president.

Many of the signatories had declined to sign a similar note in March.

"None of us will vote for Donald Trump," the letter states.

The letter comes after a number of high-profile Republicans stepped forward to disown Mr Trump.

Mr Trump has broken with years of Republican foreign policy on a number of occasions.

US election: Fundraiser aims to 'send Donald Trump to war' to earn his own Purple Heart

The satire GoFundMe page was started in response to the US Republican candidate's remarks at his rally in Virginia, where he appeared flippant about handling the medal - a military honour awarded to combat-wounded servicemen and women.

Mr Trump stood on stage holding a Purple Heart medal that was handed to him by a veteran moments earlier.

George P. Bush urges Republicans to back Trump

George P. Bush, the Texas land commissioner, is breaking with his father, a former Donald Trump Republican primary rival, to back the GOP nominee. George P. Obama takes on Trump with tough talk

It's one more historic barrier President Barack Obama has shattered.

Melania Trump's nude photos expose gap in her immigration story

According to Melania Trump, the story of her American arrival is quite simple: "I came to the United States, to New York, in 1996," she told CNN's Anderson Cooper on February 29, 2016.

But Melania posed for those photos, which appeared in the French magazine Max, during a shoot in New York City in 1995 when she was 25 and known as "Melania K," according to Bojan Pozar, the author of the biography "Melania Trump: The Inside Story."

That year is possibly the key to whether or not Melania, now 46, broke immigration law by working in the US without the proper visa.

Donald Trump relents over Paul Ryan re-election

Mr Trump shocked party members on Tuesday when he refused to endorse Mr Ryan and Senator John McCain in their campaigns for re-election in November.

Mr Ryan, the party's highest-ranking elected official, had himself long delayed endorsing Mr Trump.

"I support and endorse our Speaker... Paul Ryan," Mr Trump said on Friday.

"We need unity - we have to win this election," Mr Trump said during a campaign stop in Green Bay, Wisconsin - Mr Ryan's home state.

While they might "disagree on a couple of things", they agreed on a lot as well, he added.
