Campaigners seek 'to sell US politicians' browsing data'

But experts said the schemes were doomed to fail.

The campaigners are protesting against a congress vote to repeal a key internet privacy law earlier this week.

They said the SJR34 resolution, which would let companies continue to sell user data without their consent, would infringe people's privacy.

President Donald Trump is expected to sign the order soon.

Trump border wall funding facing delay

Senator Roy Blunt said cash for the wall would be left out of a spending bill that must pass by 28 April to avert a partial government shutdown.

His remarks came on Tuesday after Mr Trump requested a supplemental funding bill to include money for the wall along with military programmes.

But Mr Blunt signalled Mr Trump's request could complicate negotiations.

Trump voters to President: Stop Twitter rants

But there's one tweet that several assembled Trump voters -- who expressed varying degrees of enthusiasm for the President -- could agree on.

According to many of his supporters, Trump was wrong about "Saturday Night Live" being unwatchable and Alec Baldwin's impersonation not being good.

"He has no sense of humor," one tweeted.

"That was hilarious!"

"Humor at its best," another said.

"Alec Baldwin did a fabulous job!"

What Trump's executive order on climate change means for the world

The order will curb the enforcement of a number of climate regulations, in an effort, the Trump administration says, to prioritize American jobs above addressing climate change.

What effects will it have?

According to Mark Lynas, a British author, journalist and environmental activist who focuses on climate change, the order "is intended to make coal competitive again in the US economy, by refossilizing the US power sector and demonstrably increasing carbon emissions."

Trump's son-in-law to be questioned over alleged Trump-Russia ties

Mr Kushner has volunteered to speak to the Senate Intelligence Committee, the White House said.

It is examining Russia's alleged interference in last year's election.

The US intelligence community believes alleged Russian hacking during the presidential election was done to help Mr Trump defeat Hillary Clinton.

Russia denied the allegations and President Trump has branded the story "fake news".

There are two congressional investigations into the issue, plus an FBI one.

President Trump's daughter Ivanka to get White House office

But she will not have an official title or salary when she works in the West Wing - the hub of US executive power.

The official also confirmed media reports that the 35-year-old would have access to classified information.

Her role will be to serve as Donald Trump's "eyes and ears" while providing broad-ranging advice, her attorney was quoted as saying by Politico.

Ivanka, who has her own fashion brand, will be joining her husband Jared Kushner, who is a senior adviser to the president.

Trump job approval drops to 37%

The approval ratings, Trump's worst since taking office two months ago, come as FBI Director James Comey is expected to tell lawmakers that there is no evidence for the President's unverified claim that former President Barack Obama wiretapped Trump Tower during the election.

Trump's approval rating hovered in the mid-to-low 40s in the weeks following the beginning of his presidency.

'No evidence' of Trump-Russia links

Devin Nunes, head of the House of Representatives intelligence committee, made the remark on Fox News.

On Monday, FBI Director James Comey will testify before the committee.

The US intelligence community believes alleged Russian hacking during the presidential election was done to help Mr Trump defeat Hillary Clinton.

Mr Trump has branded suggestions that he or associates on his campaign had contact with Russian intelligence as "fake news".

Trump's 2.0 travel ban blocked by Hawaii court

The decision means that travellers from the six Muslim-majority countries covered by the ban will still be able to travel to the US.

US District Judge Derrick Watson put an emergency stop to the new order in response to a lawsuit filed by the state of Hawaii, which argued the order discriminated against Muslims in violation of the constitution.

Donald Trump hits back at Snoop Dogg over fake shooting

The video for Snoop's politically-charged remix of BADBADNOTGOOD's single Lavender sees him fire a fake "clown gun" in Trump's direction, before dancing around and smoking while a clown-faced President is tied up in chains.

The video is a bit too sweary for us to feature here - but you can find it online should you wish.

The President has seen it and he's not a happy man...even hinting at jail time for Snoop.
