Murphy was 57.

A long time comic, Murphy rose to fame for his work on Dave Chapelle's popular "Chapelle's Show," where he was a co-star and writer.

Mike Epps apologizes for kangaroo incident

Comedian and actor Mike Epps has been dealing with backlash in the wake of incorporating one into his Detroit show last Friday.

Epps, who is known for roles in various projects including "The Hangover," invited zoo owner and exotic animal handler Javon Stacks on stage with a kangaroo.

A video shows the comedian and the handler with the kangaroo, which is held upright. Epps tugs on the kangaroo's harness before the animal appears to throw his paw back toward the star. Epps then runs off the stage.

Betty White: 'I am the luckiest old broad on two feet'

Such were the words of wisdom from a woman who knows: 95-year-old Betty White.

A seven-time Emmy award-winner, who also boasts a Grammy and three Screen Actors Guild awards on her mantle, White joined CNN's Brooke Baldwin to reflect on her time in the industry, all 78 years worth.

"Do you remember the first time that you got a laugh?" Baldwin asked as the pair shared french fries in a Los Angeles restaurant.

"I think when I came out of the womb," White, naturally, joked.
