​Writers’ conference for women

This time, a group of women in Port Moresby are using their skill of writing to carve change for the country.

Six contributing writers to My Walk To Equality book set up a first ever writers conference on Friday.

This is their first step to cultivating the seed of writing, mostly among women and girls.

The MWTE writers’ event on Friday afternoon attracted those who share the passion for developing writers and literature in PNG.  

Change the mindset and appreciate change: Juffa

Juffa said to bring change to the people, it would require commitment from everyone.

He blamed the government systems and the weak public servants for causing the delays in delivering basic services to the people.

“We will see development when we are willing to accept change and are willing to change ourselves,” he said.
