The accident occurred along the Waigani Drive at around 4am on July 24th. The vehicle was recently donated by the Australian Federal Police to assist with the Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation (APEC) duties.
“The suspect Constable Neil Vaimo attached to the Boroko Traffic Unit was laid administrative charges for negligent driving under Road Traffic Act (RTA),” officer in-charge of Boroko traffic office, Joseph Salle, said.
