Godwin will play his first game in a month when the Brumbies take on the Lions, after breaking his hand against the Reds - the last ACT win.
While he laughed off the notion that he might be any sort of lucky charm for the Brumbies on his return, but coach Stephen Larkham said Godwin would take some of the burden off flyhalf Wharenui Hawera.
“(Hawera) has been doing the bulk of that over the last couple of weeks, so having Kyle back out there will certainly ease the pressure on ‘Fats’ a little bit,” he said.
