Mahindra debuts in PNG

To bring its world-class vehicles to market, the company has partnered with Boroko Motors, starting with five dealerships in key locations across the country.

Mahindra automotive products will be launched in Papua New Guinea, starting with Mahindra Pik-Up in single-cabin and double-cabin variants, Bolero Pik-Up and Supro Maxitruck.

Isuzu cricket launch

The launch today signifies the ongoing commitment by Boroko Motors Group of Companies to Cricket PNG and as major brand sponsor of the Tournament. 

Cricket PNG CEO Craig Campbell said, “This is the 3rd year running that Boroko Motors has come onboard again to sponsor the major event.”

He said they are very grateful for the sponsorship partnership because the company has stuck with Cricket PNG for the last two years even in the midst of the pandemic.

Barras Bash T20 Launch

The tournament is part of the Barras and Lewas lead up preparations to the upcoming ICCT20 World Cup which will be held Oman in October and November this year.

The tournament launch coincided with the donation of a brand new Isuzu TWD ute to be used as part of the PNG Barras campaign for their historic ICCT20 World Cup appearance this year.

Sleek SUV on the market

The SUV is being introduced to the market with a special introductory price of K124,000.

Proton is Malaysia’s premier automotive manufacturer, and a partner of Geely Auto Group, the largest automotive company in China.

According to Boroko Motors Dealer Principal, Boe Daera, the SUV features a sleek and modern design with high capacity 7 speed dual clutch transmission, in place of the outdated 6 speed automatic transmission, 360 degree cameras, 6 airbags, anti-lock braking system, electronic brake distribution and brake assist.
