Muddle leaves PMGH

Muddle’s contract ended in June this year and the hospital has seen a remarkable change under his leadership since he joined almost three-and-a-half years ago.

The hospital staff and management thanked Muddle for his efforts and everything that he has done to lift PMGH to a global standard hospital.

Director Medical Services, Dr. David Mokela, extended his sincere thanks to Muddle for taking the lead in developing the hospital.

Urban youths donate 49 life-saving bags of blood

These young people are currently undergoing skills training facilitated by Pacifica Limited to work for FIFA U-20 Women’s World Cup next month. Pacifica Ltd managing director, David Newton said 860 youths are getting skills training in communication, leadership, customer service, emergency and evacuation, occupation, health and safety and gender-based violence for over a month now.

“This youth blood drive collection is timely because it displays the training that these young people have learned in upholding the values of families, community and the country.”  Newton said.

Students donate blood to PMGH

The Port Moresby General Hospital and the blood bank team thanked the great effort and dedication shown by students who voluntarily donated the blood this week.

Their contribution will towards saving many sick patients and those in need of blood at the Port Moresby General Hospital (PMGH).

School director, Brother Antony Swamy thanked the director for the Corporate and Youth Blood Drives, Anna Megueria for talking to students about blood donation before committing to the two days of blood collection.
