The current sitting Governor for NCD Powes Parkop, made this comment in regards to the deferral of the election date today in NCD.
“Everybody is ready and we’ve turned up but authority to deliver the free, fair and peaceful election has failed us.
“There is no excuse here; well may be for other remote parts of the country but it is not acceptable for the nation’s capital,” he said.
He explained that even the NCD city manager’s office had offered to help the electoral commission and the police.
