Former rep highlights weaknesses in team PNG

“Their opponents are always tough and aggressive and their girls must step up if they want to be serious representative games in contenders in the Oceania region.”

Former National midfielder Kule Matu said our girls were dwarfed by their New Zealand opponents who were also aggressive and tough.

"We need to be very tough and out muscle our opponents and there is no reason to be ashamed.”

"We were not aggressive and competitive enough. We also need to communicate well on the field. Those were some of our weaknesses," he said.
