Chairman of the PNGSCT, Sione Kami, said from the money, the WDA will be able to carry out on-site health and lifestyle awareness programs plus on-site screening at selected companies and government departments, or agencies who have been regularly taking part in the annual Charity Cup.
He said a portion of this funding will also go towards open health and lifestyle awareness programs and screening for workers from both the private and public sector.
A record K201,598.50 was raised from this year’s Charity Cup held in Port Moresby. The event continues to grow in popularity every year.
